Fell walk
If you’re not a big fell walker but want to take in a great view, for only a little bit of effort, Hallin Fell is perfect. It’s a steep climb up for 30 minutes but when you reach the top, it is all worth it.

The George & Dragon in Clifton
Both do a great Sunday lunch and booking well ahead is advisable.
A little further but worth it.
If you’re looking for Michelin star pub food, then The Dog & Gun Skelton comes highly recommended too.
Boat hire - Ullswater

There are so many woodland trails to discover in this landscape. Quiet glades give way to dramatic waterfalls, with Aira Beck thundering down a 65-foot drop past ferns and rocks.
